Rest in peace noble heros. The current state of the Union and what has become of this country since 1865 exonerated you and proves yours was the just cause.

McNair High School in Atlanta was initially Walker High School when it opened in 1964. With General H. T. Walker as the namesake. Plus back then the neighborhoods that served the school were a predominately white middle class. After the schools were desegregated by 1970, there would be a subsequent white flight to the northern suburbs. As such throughout the 1970s/1980s there was a significant change in demographics going from mostly white to mostly black. As such the students were leery of having the namesake of their school being that of a confederate civil war general. Hence the school was renamed McNair in 1987 in honor of Ronald e. McNair who died in the challenger explosion a year prior.

General Armistead who fought and died at Gettysburg , was buried in Baltimore . They did not allow a marker on his grave . I am from the north and my family fought and fell at Gettysburg . He deserves a marker , as all Confederates were given a pardon for their involvement . Robert E. Lee was given one , but they never sent it to him . Their cause was wrong , slavery is not a States rights , but when forgiven , allow them to be properly buried . I saw A.P. Hill was reburied with full military Honors ! Gen. Handcock would have approved as Gen. Armistead was a close and dear friend . To the victors goes the spoils , to the vanquished , forgiveness and respect !

Just had to jump on here since your cowardly rebel ass turned off the comments on your war crimes of the Union video. Funny how the crimes against humanity you all, sorry Y'all committed for generations isn't mentioned, but your sorry ass losing the war has something to say. There's always collateral damage in war if you ever fought youd know, and I can tell you it doesn't matter who or what when you're looking across that field you are going to want to kill anyone or anything standing against you and your brothers in arms. Let alone racing through the enemies lines ahead of your support structure you and yours committed similar atrocities. Not to mention the ones who murdered and pillaged after the war was lost for you, Bloody Coward Anderson...

There could have been a peaceful solution But nobody wanted to take it. There was definite miscalculation by the south. Numbers don't lie. The south simply did not have the numbers. And, what it lacked in numbers, what it had in swagger did not compensate for. History is ryming.
